Squarebody Syndicate Indy Hauler Premiers at 2018 SEMA show

American Powertrain was very proud to sponsor  Joe Yezzi’s Squarebody Syndicate group Syndicate Series 02, a tribute to the “Indy Haulers” from the 1975 Indianapolis 500. Twenty-seven of those trucks patrolled Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  Very limited edition truck. Only one is still on the road today.

This truck built-from-the-ground-up ’76 model, blew everyone away when unveiled Oct. 30 at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, taking the GM Design Award and wining one of Top Five Chevy vehicles at the entire show.

Motivated by a supercharged GM Performance LS3 crate motor by Pro-Dyno with 70s look and feel with all the latest technology. White powder coated headers, classic looking “Moroso” style valve covers and more. This thing screams retro but is packed with lots of technology. Featuring our TREMEC 6-speed Magnum and Hydramax hydraulic clutch for Squarebody’s. Helps get this truck rolling down the road with great performance and fuel mileage. 20″ Vector style turbine wheels just nail the look. Tons of great sponsors such as Holley, GM Performance, Baer brakes and the Roadster Shop to name just a few. One of our favorite parts? The “Wink” rear view mirror…Very 90’s cruising style…
