This Crossmember was designed to work best with the GM T56 originally from a 93-97 Camaro or Firebird. Other T56 transmissions may require installer modifications.
We recommend a polyurethane transmission mount. The GMTM is sold separately.
For the 1970-1974 F-Body frames the distance between the crossmember frame mounting holes is 30-1/2″. To ensure proper crossmember selection be sure to measure your frame before you order.
