This crossmember was designed to work best with the GM T-56 originally from a 93-97 Camaro or Firebird. Other T-56 transmissions may require installer modifications.
We recommend a polyurethane transmission mount. The GMTM is sold separately.
For the 1975-1981 F Body and 1975-1979 X Body frames, the distance between the crossmember frame mounting holes is 31-3/4″. To ensure proper crossmember selection be sure to measure your frame before you order.
