Description
The TKX 5-speed is rated for 600ft/lbs of torque right out of the box, but thats not enough for some of our customers. With our American Powertrain Extreme Series Upgrade, we can increase the torque capacity to 900 ft/lbs.
Upgrades include:
- All SureShift upgrades.
- Blueprinting, re-assembled to closer specs than factory.
- REM polishing of gears and shafts for cooler temps, increased strength and removes gear stress risers.
- CRYO extreme low temperature metal treatment for increased strength and wear resistance.
